--- LISTEN TO THIS! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkKjbT… ---

--- NOTE: The next time I write a bio for Hellmouth/Dreadnought, most of this information will become obsolete.---

--- NOTE: This character used to go by the name "Hellmouth."  He still goes by that name, but now prefers "Dreadnought" (or "the Dreadnought").---

--- NOTE: This character is also in my superhero universe.  He crosses over from that universe to the alternate Skullgirls universe I'm currently developing.---

--- NOTE: Below is information for a fanfiction I plan to start, on account of said dimension, when I get the first third of DOOMed completed.---

About a year after Joseph Michael Kain became the Dreadnought at the hands of Ereshkigal, he became one of Ereshkigal's worst threats.  So, Ereshkigal baited Dreadnought and another threat, Dragon (a.k.a. Regina Drakul), into a trap.  She banished them both to some random dimension.

It turned out, however, that they landed in a universe that was never thought to exist... that of a video game.  Namely, Skullgirls.  But, this wasn't the actual Skullgirls universe, but an alternate one where many of the characters had different upbringings and where the Skullgirl, Marie, had virtually turned the entire planet into a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Ereshkigal felt the presence of an object of immense power within the dimension... the Skull Heart.  She could not leave Earth to retrieve it for herself without running the risk of ruining her plans of world domination.  She then cut a deal with Dreadnought and Dragon: retrieve the Skull Heart, and you shall be granted safe passage back to Earth.

They were presented with a tough choice... if they decided to stay, then the two most dangerous threats to Ereshkigal's plans would be out of the way.  Plus, Regina would most likely complain about wanting to return home.  If they decided to return with the Skull Heart, Ereshkigal could simply wish for more power than ever before, but there would still be a fighting chance.

Dreadnought figured that something could be done to allow them to return to Earth and foil Ereshkigal's plot in the split second of their return, so the two of them set on their way to find the Skullgirl and the Skull Heart.  They encounter many characters along the way, like Talia Medici (Cerebella), who mainly governs New Meridian, and Commander Parasoul Renoir, head of the SERAPH Division (an evolved version of the Black Egrets, made into a formidable fighting force), and Sgt. Valentine, the only elite combat medic known to survive the Skullgirl's rampage.  They will also meet some similar, but different characters, like Hanna the Headstrong (Cerebella II) and ARGUS (Umbrella).  Most of all, they will encounter hordes of the undead and one of the most powerful entities in existence... the Skullgirl.

Powers/Abilities:

Mystic Barrier: Ereshkigal set up a barrier to stop anyone, including herself, from curing Dreadnought of his affliction.  However, the strain of traveling through a portal to an unknown dimension put a strain on this barrier, making Dreadnought more vulnerable to non-physical damage.

Fatal Bite: Only deadly because of the massive amount of damage he can do with it.  Has a strong jaw and diamond-hard, razor-sharp exo-teeth.

Aether-Fire Breathing/Fire Breathing: Dreadnought can breathe standard fire of intense heat and "aether-fire", a type of fire that has strange effects on most objects (like consuming metal, rather than melting, for example).  He can only do one type at a time, and it tires him easily.

Superstrength: This ability is self-explanatory.  Dreadnought can do various things with this ability.

Hyper-reflexes: Allows Dreadnought to execute movesets faster.

Superdensity: Dreadnought's body is as flexible as any other human's body, yet his flesh is as hard as rock, and he's heavier than his size suggests.

Dimensional Travel: Dreadnought used to possess the ability to open portals to other dimensions, but the strain of traveling to this unknown dimension restricted him from creating portals to Earth or other dimensions.  He can now only make portals that lead to other locations on the planet, but only if he's been there before.  This ability exhausts him.

Super-roar: Dreadnought's roar can shatter glass and break rocks.  This ability can easily tire Dreadnought.

Jaws Of Death: Dreadnought possesses a living weapon, a Flesh Edge, appropriately named "Jaws Of Death."  He lost it when he came to this dimension, but found it again in time for a sparring bout against Parasoul.
