RWBY OC - Ciana DiAmant

And now, my last RWBY OC... for now...

Ciana DiAmant is the leader of Team CMYK (pronounced "comic"), who is currently enrolled with her cousins Magenta Osito and Yaulo Ogledalo, plus fellow teammate Kleidion Montenegro, at Beacon Academy.

Ciana is a perky, energetic girl who strives to be the best she can be... as a student, a Huntress, and a Paladin (weaponmaster; not to be confused with the Atlesian Paladin).  She's into comic books and video games from the Old World, as well as medieval history... as a matter of fact, the tipping point that was integral for her descision to become a Huntress in the first place was inspiration derived from a couple of ancient video games from the Old World, called Heretic and Hexen.  As such, her arsenal of weaponry has taken a more medieval motif.

As a Paladin, Ciana knows how to effectively wield an extensive number of weapons.  Being a quick study is the name of the game.  She brings power, speed, and tactics into battle, knowing the best places to strike an opponent with whatever weapons she's using.  Maximization of efficiency is priority one.  She's also quite the strategist, allowing her to maximize combat output of her fellow teammates.

Her Aura manifests in cyan-colored arcs of Auric Lightning.  Her Semblance, Jumpstart, allows her to convert her entire body either partially or completely into Auric Lightning.  This enables her to hover, fly, and fire powerful blasts of Auric Lightning (think of the Summoner from DOOM).  When totally converted, she flies even faster, in essence, becoming the blast, as she's able to ram into other opponents this way (note that this isn't actual lightning... it only takes lightning's appearance... and as such, cannot be absorbed by Nora Valkyrie's Semblance).  She has to charge for about one second before attempting a total conversion... if it's done prematurely, her clothes/weapons might not jump with her...

Her armory has derived massive inspiration from the games Heretic and Hexen, as she's a massive fan of said games.  Four such weapons are pictured here:

- Spiked Gauntlets: Generic spiked gauntlets that add pain to the punch.  They also conduct Aura, so Ciana can launch her Aura at enemies this way.  Based off of the Spiked Gauntlets wielded by Baratus the Fighter, from Hexen, and the Gauntlets of the Necromancer, wielded by Corvus, from Heretic.
- "Cyan Crescendo" Power Axe: An axe that is powered by and conducts Ciana's Aura.  It may have other varying effects if also charged by dust.  Based off of Timon's Axe, wielded by Baratus the Fighter, from Hexen.
- "Jaded Silence" Power Sword: A sword that's largely self-sustained.  When charged with both Kleidion's and Ciana's Auras, it can launch destructive green flame waves.  Based off of the Quietus, wielded by Baratus the Fighter, from Hexen.
- Dragon's Claw: A three-pronged gauntlet that fires a steady stream of Auric plasmoid spheres.  Based heavily off of the Dragon Claw wielded by Corvus in Heretic.  An upgraded version, which is a forearm gauntlet, is also pictured here.

---TRIVIA---
- "Ciana" means "light" or "God is gracious".  It also contains the word cian, which is Spanish for "cyan".
- "DiAmant" (diamant) is "diamond" in French.  Diamant itself comes from Latin and Greek adamant, which pretty much means "invincible", as it was used to describe what the Greeks called "the hardest metal".
