This is a fan fiction idea for Skullgirls I've had boiling in my brain for a long time.  I might as well put some of the prototype prologue stuff out here, so that people can get a little bit of an idea of what I've been writing up as of late.  This is probably the most complete one I've done so far.

This project will be known as Skullgirls Neo.

It's supposed to take place in an alternate dimension parallel to that of the canon Skullgirls universe.  Everyone and everything has been redesigned one way or another.  Powers, personalities, occupations... everything important.  For example, the setting is in a cyber-age era not too distant in the future from our timeline, rather than a "dark deco" world (not that there's anything wrong with the dark deco theme... it's a really cool idea, but I wanted to switch things up a bit, for the sake of this story).

I wanted these first few prologues to revolve more around Jack Rye... while he's not the main protagonist, he's still an important character in the story. 

Jack Rye belongs to Shouhda.  He granted me permission to use the character in this series.  (Thank you!)

Moderate Mature Filter enabled.  It's pretty light now, as a bunch of it is implied... but it will probably get worse.
